| The influence of cotton genotypes on oviposition preference of Alabama argillacea (Hübner, 1818) (Lepidóptera, Noctuidae) and Podisus nigrispinus (Dallas, 1851) (Hemiptera, Pentatomidae) and predatory capacity of this natural enemy were studied. The research was developed under greenhouse conditions, and the cotton genotypes used were CNPA Precoce 1, CNPA 9211-31, CNPA 9211-41 and GL2 GL3 in free choice and no choice tests. The average number of eggs laid by A. argillacea/leaf/genotype in free choice test ranged from 19.9 to 27.6 and from 14.1 to 17.3 in no choice test.
